I can't recommend Alpine Motor Company highly enough. I recently bought a Vauxhall Corsa from them and, unfortunately, shortly after taking the car home I discovered a significant issue with the clutch and gear selection. This could very easily have turned into a nightmare, but the way Alpine dealt with it was genuinely excellent. They took my concerns seriously from the outset, kept me updated throughout, and when the fault became more apparent they didn't try to minimise it or fob me off. They eventually replaced the clutch, clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, and kept the car for several days afterwards to properly road test it and make sure everything was working as it should. There was also a separate issue with the brakes which I remained concerned about. They were happy for me to have my own trusted garage investigate this, and when further work was required they agreed to settle the bill directly with the garage without any fuss. What could have been an absolute nightmare turned into a really positive experience because of the way they handled it. They were fair, communicative, accommodating and, most importantly, stood behind the car they had sold me. The Corsa is now driving brilliantly and I'm genuinely very happy with it. Buying a used car always carries some risk, but if something does go wrong, you want to know you're dealing with a company that will actually stand behind you. Alpine Motor Company did exactly that. Highly recommended.

We road the train from Edinburgh out to Dundee, and it was worth the trip. They had an amazing little Honda Jazz that had only one previous owner, all service records, long MOT (with never a problem) and only 15k miles on it. Sam helped us. He made the buying experience very relaxed - no high pressure. Before we took the car, we noticed the jack was missing from the trunk. He assured me he would have a replacement sent to me as soon as he could. It arrived the next day. Great experience overall!
